Buying gifts for children can be tricky, especially if you don’t have much idea about what they like. The age of 5 is one that is packed full of change, this is the year when a child will have started school and will be learning more and more things.
They will still be playful and curious characters, wanting to play with toys and games, as well as interacting with learning toys too.
So, if you have a 5 year old girl to buy for, what are the top gift ideas?
My Little Pony
First created back in the 1980s. It seems that My Little Pony has had somewhat of an impressive comeback. The 5 main ponies in this show cover a wide variety of personality types and promote the idea that friendship is incredibly important. All of the toys are bright, colourful and incredibly cute and there ones that will appeal to sporty, fashion conscious, animal loving and magical girls.
Reception and Year 1 at school are important years, they are times when a child will be absorbing a wide range of information. Why not encourage this learning in a fun way with some different books? There are a number of popular authors out there to choose from, including one of the most famous Julia Donaldson.
Much to the confusion of many parents, these teeny grocery themed toys have become massive around the world. Now a few seasons in, it doesn’t seem that the popularity of Shopkins is waning. It may be a new film on the block, but Trolls have definitely come out with a bang. Whilst many of us older folk will remember them back in the 90s with fluffy hair and plain bodies, they have had a complete makeover and now come sparkly, neon and just out right crazy.
