“We’re able to render over 400 flying monkeys at a flawless frame rate” (a quote from the Apple launch event).
Apple’s launch event on September 7th gave us news of some major improvements to several of their devices, most notably the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
Other potentially exciting inclusions were the next generation of Apple Watches, Air Pods (a kind of wireless ear bud headphones) and increased collaboration with other large brands such as Nintendo and Nike.
The iPhone 7’s highlight for us was the camera improvements. The previous versions excellent quality camera has yet again been re-engineered with improved functionality and quality. The plus version features 2 lenses, 1 of which can be used for optical zoom. One of the most interesting features is the live shallow depth of field functionality of the iPhone 7 Plus which will be available as a software update in late October.
The iPhone 7 will be available to order from September 9th and will ship a week later, although you expect high demand, so you may need some patience.
iOS 10 will be released on September 13th. Air Pods will be available late October.
Unfortunately there was no mention of an update to the Macbook Pro range, but we hope to get news of this very soon – many have predicted That the Macbook Updates may be announced in October.
We will do our best to find the best iPhone deals as soon as possible. Once we do we’ll be posting them on the AgeCounts Latest Deals section and in the blog.
